The newest episode of Haruhi I was watching is the exact same crap as the last episode. What is Kyoto Animation trying to pull by trolling this stupid crap for 3 episodes already. I have read the light novels so I know it repeats itself for quite awhile, but making into a digestible tv format is needed for something like this. Of course to save on production cost by only altering clothing and a few scenes is ideal for a studio, but is cheating us fans who have waited for a second season longer than the return of Christ himself.

haha you really don’t understand what’s going on do you? You’re being pushed into the mindset of Nagato. How she’d been open with everyone (especially kyon and haruhi) the first cycle to her closed mind to everything now. You have to think of it like you just watched 594 years of this and they create the feeling of repetition with variation which intrigues and forces our despirate minds into thinking it seems like it’s never going to end. I think this is the most artistic pressure I’d ever seen in any form of art. It may make you mad but DID YOU, OR DID YOU NOT, WATCH THEM?
Artistic pressure? So let me get this straight. Kyoto Animation is willing to waste 4 to 5 episodes out of most likely 13 to prove an artistic point, and still nothing close to hinting a conclusion. A build up is suppose to create tension even when imposing a viewpoint, but that was just lazy boring crap. If you can stand a lackluster excuse for an artistic representation of time repeating and desperation to retain sanity, then I am pretty sure you can watch Barney the dinosaur come to life and say the magical powers infuse in him represents children’s dreams, or something along those lines. Heck, I think megaman’s blaster represents robots feelings for freedom since it shoots plasma or some shit.
I started watching the most recent one, but skipped most of the way through because there was very little different. Endless Eight really is endless.
I understand the skipping thing cause I’ve thought about it each time. the only thing is though if you skipped the airplane episode you’d never known he drew them or talked about them. Also they probably figured people would do this at some point which still pushes nagato’s personality by making you want to JUST GET IT OVER WITH. Do you really think the artists would honestly keep drawing the same episode over and over again if it wasn’t what they believed in too?

I have a feeling that the producers of the show saw this (negative feedback from fans) coming. If they did, they must have a good excuse for the iterations of endless 8. But then again I believe that you can’t please everyone and the same goes for the conclusion of this season of haruhi, whatever it is they’re cooking up.
Of course you can not please everyone. Though pleasing the core fanbase can not be that hard, since you already establish yourself with them.
well kyoto animation believes in this the same way they believed in the randomness and confusing factors of the first season to represent Haruhi and Kyon’s adventures together now it’s the Kyon/Nagato fuse where they’re making you see the pain of living forever and the helplessness felt by both of them. I mean seriously you think this is repetative but people are still willing to DRAW, SUB, and RELEASE this on television, with the fanbase only dwindling in the US, I haven’t seen many forums by Japanese saying “
Hmm.. i know it’s called endless eight because of the endless august… but i’m starting to think it’s going to be 8 episode… thinking it’s endless EIGHT… i hope i’m wrong because that’s just wasting a good slot for another story…
